Letter of support

A letter of support is a document provided by the host department as the candidate’s official invitation to participate in the program.
The letter should include:
  • information about your track;
  • names of host department and your contact at the department;
  • explanation of the host department’s need for the candidate;
  • objectives and expected results of the project;
  • its duration and preliminary date of start;
  • expected KPIs;
  • the amount of funding required for its successful completion (if applicable).
The letter should be signed by the head of the host department or laboratory.
