An ideal candidate for the position of Fellow should be ready to carry out independent research projects with ITMO scientists and students, assemble their own team, and assume a leading position at an ITMO lab. We invite experienced researchers with promising ideas within ITMO’s scientific scope to lead new areas of development, form a strong research team, and become a PI (principal investigator) of the next generation.

Eligibility
- PhD holders (or equivalent). For holders of a Russian PhD, international experience at world's leading universities is preferred
- H-index of 7 and higher preferred
- Assistant/associate professor position at one of the world's leading universities preferred
- Without prior employment history at ITMO UniversityAll aforementioned criteria are preferable, but not mandatory. Outstanding applicants with other professional achievements supported by extra documents are also welcome to apply.
Expected Results (KPIs)
- Number of publications (in Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals) with the single affiliation of ITMO:No less than 3 per year in collaboration with ITMO researchers (young scientists, PhDs, and MSc)
- Cumulative SJR of publications with single ITMO affiliation:No less than 3
- Participation in major international scientific conferences as a speaker representing ITMO University:No less than 1 per year
- Application for additional external funding, including but not limited to international research grants:No less than 1 per year with a minimum of 1,000,000 rubles in funding
- Supervision of Master's theses (with co-publishing of research results):No less than 2 during the period of the employment contract
- Establishment of a research teamof 3+ members OR (PhD and MSc ITMO students)
